Certified Collision Repair at Renew Collision

Renew Collision is a certified collision repair center for several vehicle manufacturers. We repair collision damage on vehicles covered by certified repair programs, and we organize our shop around the standards those programs set.

When your vehicle arrives after an accident, our team inspects the damage, explains what the repair will involve, and answers your questions before any work begins.

Certification matters most on newer vehicles. Today’s cars and trucks combine high strength steel, aluminum, sensors, cameras, and radar units that have to work together after a repair.

Manufacturer repair procedures describe how those materials and systems are meant to be repaired, and certification is one way a shop documents that it follows them.

You can choose the shop that repairs your vehicle, and you can contact us before you call your insurance company. We work with all insurance companies and can communicate directly with your insurer throughout the process.

What Manufacturer Certification Means for Your Vehicle

A collision repair certification is more than a sticker on a wall. Each manufacturer program reviews a shop before granting certification, then continues to review it afterward.

Why manufacturers certify collision repair centers

Manufacturers certify repair centers because their vehicles are built to exact standards, and a repair that ignores those standards can affect how the vehicle performs in the next impact. Certification programs evaluate the tools, equipment, training, and repair procedures a shop maintains, along with the service it provides to vehicle owners. Certified centers are expected to keep their training and equipment current as new model years arrive.

That is the practical value for you. Certification ties your repair to the manufacturer’s own repair information rather than to a generic approach that happens to fit the visible damage.

We are proud to be part of the Nissan Certified Collision Repair network, we also are your local Kia Certified Collision Repair Center and offer Hyundai drivers the best Hyundai Certified Collision Repair at all our locations.

HOW OUR REPAIR PROCESS WORKS

The process begins when you contact us about the damage. We review what happened, look at the vehicle, and give you an estimate at no cost. If you are filing an insurance claim, we can talk with your insurer and handle the repair documentation so you are not carrying messages between two offices.

Once work begins, we keep you informed. Our body shop sends progress updates on Tuesday and Thursday, and our team calls right away if something changes, such as a parts delay that affects your timeline. When repairs near completion, we reassemble the vehicle, scan the systems, and confirm that everything we worked on is functioning.

Certified Collision Repair FAQ's

Certified repair programs are built around original equipment parts and manufacturer procedures, and the parts that appear on your estimate depend on your vehicle, the damage, and your coverage.

Ask us to walk through the proposed parts before work starts so nothing is a surprise later.

What does certified collision repair mean at Renew Collision?

It means our shop is certified for several manufacturer repair programs, so we follow the repair procedures, training, and equipment standards those programs require. We also explain the repair plan to you before work starts so you can approve it with a clear understanding.

Yes. We repair all makes and models. Certification tells you that we meet manufacturer standards for the brands we are certified to repair. For other vehicles, we still inspect the damage, follow available repair information, and explain the plan we recommend.

We scan supported vehicle systems as part of the repair, and we calibrate driver assistance cameras, sensors, and radar units when the vehicle and the work require it. Those steps are built into your repair plan, so you know what will be done before the work begins.

Ask us to review the proposed parts for your specific repair. Certified programs are built around original equipment parts and manufacturer procedures, and the parts on your estimate depend on your vehicle, the damage, and your coverage. We will tell you what is proposed before work begins.

Timing depends on the damage, the parts your vehicle needs, and how quickly those parts arrive. We send progress updates on Tuesday and Thursday, and we call you if a delay changes the schedule. We would rather give you accurate information than a promise we cannot keep.
